What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We’re using Early Access to gather feedback while we expand the game with new soups, ingredients, power-ups, and bonus rounds. Player input will help us refine difficulty, pacing, and features to ensure the final experience is as fun, relaxing, and polished as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We're planning for the game to remain in Early Access for 3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to include additional soups/levels, bonus rounds, power-ups, and ingredient types beyond what’s available at launch. We also plan to refine physics behavior, difficulty balance and overall progression based on player feedback. Our goal is a more polished, content-rich experience with expanded replayability.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core gameplay, multiple soups to unlock, a variety of playfield elements, power-ups, coin collection, tasty ratings, and the full round-end soup system. The game is fully playable and stable, with progression and scoring already implemented. Some content and features are still limited and will expand throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game will be priced the same during and after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will directly shape the game. We’ll be listening for suggestions on our Discord and on the Steam forums for what new soups, ingredients, power-ups, and bonus rounds we should bring to the game, as well as tuning physics and difficulty based on player reactions. Regular updates, open communication, and a willingness to adjust our plans will keep development aligned with what players enjoy most.”

About This Game

You are Dr. Zomstein, the last mostly-sane scientist left in a decaying world of wandering corpses. Your mission? Brew the ultimate soup, a concoction powerful enough to restore intelligence to the zombie horde (or at least stop them from walking into walls).

Bouncy Brain is a delightfully weird, chill-interactive game where you drop a bouncy brain into a chaotic pinball-like playfield full of soup ingredients. As the brain tumbles, ricochets, splatters, and bounces its way through each level, it gathers components for your soup and racks up points — all with minimal effort from you.

It’s not quite idle.

It’s not quite active.

It’s the perfect “background game” for multitasking zombies everywhere.

A New Breed of Undead Gameplay

Bouncy Brain is designed to be relaxing, oddly satisfying, and low-stress. No flippers to mash, no timers to fight, no frantic button tapping. Play while browsing, chatting, or even gaming elsewhere — your brain will keep on bouncing, bonking, and collecting ingredients.

You choose when to interact. Use Brain Grabbers to hold the brain until the moment feels right, or enable auto-release and let the chaos flow. Trigger power-ups when needed, nudge the screen for a bit of extra control, and navigate shooter elements that give you impactful opportunities to guide your bouncing blob.

Features

Chaotic Brain-Dropping Action

  • Drop your brain into a maze of bumpers, barrels, undead critters, and more. Watch it bounce, ricochet, and collect ingredients for your ever-growing recipe book.

Build the Ultimate Brain Soup

  • Gather standard and tasty ingredients to cook up bizarre soups like Chunky Cortex Chowder or Synaptic Surprise.

  • Earn star ratings based on tasty ingredients collected — get 5 stars to unlock the next soup!

Player-Controlled Interactions (When You Feel Like It)

  • Use Shooters to capture and launch the brain in different directions.

  • Deploy power-ups: Extra Bouncy, Mega Brain, Magnetic Tasty, Screen Nudge, and more.

  • Collect coins to buy power-ups or new recipes.

A Chill-Interactive Experience

Bouncy Brain is perfect for players who enjoy low-pressure games with satisfying physics, quirky humor, and a steady sense of progression. Whether you’re fully engaged or just letting your brain do its thing in the background, there’s always something fun bubbling in Dr. Zomstein’s lab.

Get ready to bounce, splatter, collect, and cook your way through a world of undead absurdity. Your soup awaits.
