Linkling is a roguelike deck-building game centered on card-based combat.

In the game, players assemble and develop squads composed of cards, and engage in automated tabletop battles against enemy card squads.

By building card combinations and pairing them with runes and talents, players trigger multi-layered combat chains.

With limited resources, players must continuously adjust their builds, defeat enemy card squads in each stage, and progress toward higher difficulty.

At the start of each run, players begin with a basic deck and gradually acquire new cards, runes, and upgrade options through consecutive battles and stage progression.

During combat, cards act automatically according to predefined rules, while different elements and effects interact to create chained combat resolutions.

The game features an independent card squad system.

Cards come in different sizes, and squads can be formed by combining one or multiple cards, inheriting the overall attributes and effects of their components.

Different squad configurations directly influence combat pacing and strategic decisions.

In addition, Linkling includes a dedicated rune system.

Runes can activate special card abilities and provide additional elemental attributes, trigger conditions, or combat effects, allowing the same build to perform differently in battle.

As the game progresses, players can focus on specific elements, chain mechanics, or combat rhythms to gradually form stable and distinctive build archetypes.
