About This Demo

Begin the Journey. Survive the 80s. Build the Foundation.

This is the free prologue to The Conglomerate.

Experience the humble beginnings of what will become a dystopian corporate empire. In this demo, you play through Phase 1: The Garage (1980s). You start with nothing but a cheap computer, a mirror, and a dream of dominating the software industry.

Your goal: Survive the "wild west" of the 8-bit era and earn enough capital to rent your first real office.

Playable In The Demo

Phase 1: The Garage / Pipeline Defense

• Manual Coding Puzzles: Design the data pipeline yourself by connecting Logic, Graphics, and Physics nodes on a 2D grid.

• The Flow State: Manage your physical needs in real-time. Drink coffee to boost coding speed, squash bugs as they spawn in your pipeline.

• Dynamic History: Compete against real historical titles in a living market simulation. Can your text adventure survive against the release of historical titles?

• Diegetic UI: Check your health in the reflection of your desk mirror.

Coming in the Full Version

The Demo ends when you secure your first corporate lease. In the full game, your empire expands across two more distinct eras:

• Phase 2: The Studio (1990–2010): Transition to an Isometric Office & MMO Builder. Design MMORPG worlds, manage server heat, and police your community with the banhammer.

• Phase 3: The Singularity (2011–Future): Transition to a Factory Automation Sim. Replace human workers with conveyor belts and clones. Rig esports leagues with robotic players and achieve total market monopoly.

Note: The main game is actively being developed and evolving. This demo serves as a baseline for our game, but does not fully reflect the end product and designs we are working to implement.
