Why Early Access?

“With the core aspects of the game now implemented, Early Access will allow us to further expand the community and stress test the balance of the game. Over the years, we've found how frequent player feedback has substantially improved the game, and help us polish a better product for you.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect it to be in Early Access until we have completed balancing of all the main features of the game. There is no current date for this.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Improved options for colonization, streamlined quests and a completed tutorial will help guide new players in the full version. The universe will also be persistent, with ongoing events to contribute to the lore and allow players a chance to claim rare artifacts and essence. Significantly more spell options will also be implemented to truly craft a universe of epic space contests among the futuristic gods.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The version currently has the basic gameplay but still lacks several major features. This is still very much in alpha and many things are incomplete or broken, so if you're looking for something much more complete, we suggest waiting for awhile and then check back during later stages of development.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Gods and Idols will remain free to play but prices of digital goods in the in-game store may change over time.

Digital goods that are purchased in the in-game store during Early-access will become available for you to use again after every universe reset during development, and of course after the final reset before full release.

So don't worry about spending that Essence you bought now, you'll get to spend it again once we leave Early Access!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be used to prioritize and catch issues found in the game, including balancing and bugfixing. As the development progress, good ideas will also be taken into consideration and may be added as features. Having an active community is essential to the health of the game, and we hope that early access will add on our current one.”
