Yorin Love, one of Venturia's most prolific and eligible bachelors, was signed as the face of this year's "Festival of Love" -- a once-a-decade event where the city's singles gather and mingle to speed date and find a partner. As a lover of love but creature afeared of commitment themselves, Yorin revels in the opportunity to explore more potential partners, and leave a wake of broken hearts behind them on their walk through the festival activities as they head toward their home in the Heights.

Experience a rogue-like dating system where your defeated opponents are in love with you, and you can go on special curated dates with them, provided you make it to the end of the area safely single and ready to keep on mingling!

Love is War

Build up your deck of dialogue choices in order to be the most effective speed-dater. If you want to get your opponent to fall in love first, you'll need to stock up on truly appetizing phrases and opinions to woo them before you can fall hopelessly in love yourself. You'll build a deck, play cards that match the conversation topic, and increase your opponent's affection.

Battles play out almost akin to a 2d fighter and similar to online card games, where each "player" will pass back and forth until one has no remaining actions or chooses to pass. Battles end when one player's affection is full, and they fall in love with their opponent! Play around mechanics like the Poise meter, which protects your heart and self from being flustered, and weather different debuffs and powerful mechanic-altering abilities of your potential suitors.

Meet the wonderful citizens of Venturia, hailing from all walks of life, cultural backgrounds, and identities. Do you love muscular lion men? Are you more a fan of gruff mafiosos? How about socialites? Remember, the more attractive the enemy, the higher chance you might fall in love first... and if they don't love you first, then your love might not last!

Unique, Streamlined Deck-Building

Lock-in on topics for your speed-date battle conversations to control the battlefield as you hope to make your opponent fall in love first. Play cards with combinations of different flavor effects, streamline your deck by removing cards, and most importantly play your cards to craft a conversational flow that gives Yorin the advantage and woos their opponent for good!

Over the course of a run, you will collect, edit, and remove cards from your deck as you mix and match special effects and topics to control the "battlefield" of love. Over 40 flavors can appear on your cards in any combination for truly spectacular plays!
