Why Early Access?

“I would like to gather the helps of the gaming community on my journey with the UltiMage's developments process.
The game development in itself is already a tough nut to crack, while doing it solely by myself just adds another layer of shell to the process. Having the community tests and surveys through the application or social platforms will help me finish the game not as a fun game just for myself but a fun game for most of the community itself.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Estimated time should be around a year of early acces.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I am planing to add at least 5 different levels where players can enjoy. All of the magic ability systems (combat) are already in place but I will be implementing balance changes to those according to the community responses. Lore and story is represented by only text and audible readings yet I want to make complete visual representation on the future. Right now I have only 3 levels complete with 15 unique mobs and 3 bosses so ith 5 level I plan to add at lease 10 more mobs and 2 more bosses as well.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Hub Level, a short tutorial and 3 levels are already implemented,
Main and parchment magic systems are ready.
Hub store, Player stall (to sell to NPCs) ,quest board ,Life tree (Meta progression), Parchment maker are the core mechanics in the safe level where player gets ready for the next run. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“There will be small amoun of increase of the price once the game leaves early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I would like to gather requests from the community with tools like Discord, Steam forums and maybe some surveys to plan the future of the game. Since I'm a single developer, having a community with my side is crucial for me and the development of the UltiMage”
