Haramball is a football tactics card strategy game. You pick the players (cards) from a deck, pick and choose the players whose attributes you want to merge together to make better players, put the players out on the pitch in the best-suited positions according to their attributes and then watch the result of your strategy unfold in front of your eyes in a real-time simulation.

As the great Michael Owen once said - "Whoever scores the most goals usually wins"

This holds true in the world of Haramball as well. You play through 2 halves and 18 rounds (including set-piece rounds) against other players or AI to determine the outcome of the game by scoring the most goals. 

Each outcome on the pitch is determined by the attributes of the players, which are broken down into 4 main categories :

• ATT (Finishing, Crossing, Anticipation)

• DEF (Tackling, Marking, Interceptions)

• TEC (Dribbling, Passing, Set Pieces)

• PHY (Pace, Strength, Heading)

The key to winning in Haramball is to maximize the effectiveness of your players' attributes by putting them in the right positions. For example, someone with a high crossing attribute on the flanks can be a lethal weapon to put crosses into the box whereas someone with a high interception attribute can best break opposition attacks sitting in the midfield. Getting the best players is only half the journey, setting them up in a suitable formation is the other.

What if luck isn't kind to me and I get a very bad choice of cards to pick from ?

It doesn't matter because your cards and your opponent's cards are exchanged at the end of the first half. No luck, only skill matters here !

• Dynamic Simulation and Commentary System : There are no pre-determined outcomes in Haramball, each decision is taken in real-time with due consideration of the attributes of the players on the pitch. All of this is relayed to you in the form of a dynamic commentary system
