About This Game

A handful of villagers, a stretch of unclaimed land, and a world that will not leave it alone.

Raise a village and assign every worker by name — who gathers, who mines, and who runs with water when the roofs catch fire. Keep your people fed, sheltered, and willing while plague, monsters, and the ground itself take their turns breaking you. Morale is a resource: it drains from unburied bodies, neglected buildings, and every day your people go hungry.

Each act is a self-contained run on its own map. Win or lose, you come away with Legacy — the only thing that outlives a run, spent on permanent upgrades.

Every building stays idle until somebody works it. Assign a villager once and they take it from there — gathering, hauling, repeating. Lumberjacks and quarries keep your builders supplied, while farms and fishing huts feed everyone else. But remember: every mouth you bring in today eats again tomorrow.

Equip Runes before an act, then pick Folk Wisdom perks as you play. Chronicles record what your villages achieve and unlock new buildings for good, while hard-earned Legacy buys permanent passives.

Fire spreads roof to roof, earthquakes leave buildings standing but broken, and plague demands doctors immediately.

Then the horns sound. Turn villagers into soldiers, then position them yourself — behind gates, at choke points, or out on the road before a wave reaches the houses. Every act culminates in a final invasion, or a boss that starts warning you days before it arrives.
