About This Game

In Chessfall, a roguelite adventure awaits you in a cursed chess kingdom. Movement is inspired by chess, but the game offers its own unique experience beyond the traditional rules of chess.

Story
The White King unexpectedly grants you freedom. In return, he demands that you find his missing Queen.
As a shapeshifter, you set out on a journey through a realm cursed by the Black Wizard in search of the missing Queen and the truth behind the curse.

Gameplay
Cursed black pieces stand in your way and relentlessly pursue you. Each encounter takes place on a board inspired by chess, but this is no ordinary game. Face tactical battles, unexpected situations, and constantly changing combinations of enemies, obstacles, and effects.

You do not need to be a chess expert. Success depends on how you use your items, build your deck of forms, and adapt your tactics.

Collect items and loot that modify your moves, grant passive bonuses, or unlock new possibilities. Visit merchants to upgrade your equipment and make difficult decisions. Will you save your resources for later, or spend everything to survive the next room?

At the end of each chapter, powerful bosses will put your strategy to the test. With every run, you will learn more about the kingdom and its story, discover new synergies between your items, and gradually uncover the truth behind the curse.
