Why Early Access?

“We plan to implement a vast amount of content and features to enhance the gameplay experience. Because of this, it will take a significant amount of time to complete all the planned elements.

Our goal with Early Access is to release the game as soon as possible and incorporate player feedback into our long-term development process. This will allow us to improve the quality of the final version and deliver the gaming experience that players truly want.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The specific release date has not yet been determined. We expect the Early Access period to last for 1 to 2 years, and we are currently aiming to release the full version in the first half of 2027.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the scenario up to the midpoint of the story, while the full version will cover the complete narrative.

Regarding gameplay content, we plan to implement at least two main story dungeons, one of which is currently available. However, features such as buying and selling items within dungeons, identifying unknown items, and the map system are planned but not yet implemented.

Similarly, we are planning to add high-difficulty content that utilizes these mechanics, additional playable characters, and more enemies. We also plan to add multi-language support in the future.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the game features one Main Scenario Dungeon and four Optional Side Dungeons (including the tutorial). It also includes a challenging multi-phase boss battle.

There are three Hub Maps, and the events occurring in each location are already implemented.

However, please note that some dungeon mechanics and Quality of Life features intended to enhance gameplay convenience are not yet implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price is likely to increase upon the full release. We may also raise the price at specific points during the Early Access period.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The core gameplay of this title focuses on dungeon exploration. The game features a wide variety of dungeons, including high-difficulty challenges and special dungeons that emphasize unique gameplay mechanics.

In addition to progression-focused content, some characters and items in the game are inspired by Hololive VTuber talents.

During development, the team will closely monitor player progress and community reactions to determine what kinds of content expansions players are looking for. Feedback will be primarily gathered through channels such as our official X account (@holo_dungeon).

Throughout the Early Access period, this feedback will be used not only to adjust the difficulty of gameplay elements, but also to plan new expansion features, improve usability through new systems or revisions to existing ones, and determine additional characters to be implemented.

In addition to direct feedback sent to the development team, we will also review gameplay streams, recorded play videos, and community comments associated with them, and use these observations to help guide future development decisions.”
