Vespertales is an atmospheric adventure RPG set in Helion, a dream shaped world where imagination builds reality and darkness can break it.
You play as Sandy, a young dreamer searching for her brother Matty, who has been trapped inside his own corrupted dream.

Explore surreal biomes, face creatures born from emotions, and uncover the truth behind a growing shadow that threatens the balance of dreams.

A World Driven by Emotion

The Sentiment Shift System changes the environment based on Sandy’s emotional state:

• Serenity – calm exploration and gentle encounters

• Chaos – intense combat, aggresive npcs and greater rewards

• Gloom – void state, special secrets

Your actions influence which sentiment takes over the world.

Restoring the Beacons

Destroy corrupted Beacons to restore light, push back the Ring of Darkness, and unlock new dream biomes shaped by Matty’s imagination.

Explore, Craft and Discover

Collect unique dream-materials, craft tools, solve environmental puzzles and help dream-inhabitants uncover their lost memories. Each new area increases your Imagination Points, unlocking abilities and new ways to interact with the world.

Restore Matty's Mind

Gather Memory Fragments to restore Matty’s subconscious and uncover the story behind the darkness, along with the role of enigmatic figures like Don Paw and Rusty.
