Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“According to our plans, Cargo Hunters will need at least 12 months in Early Access. We need time to balance, polish, add new features, and refine them together with the community to achieve the best results.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version we plan to include more content, such as:

- More locations to explore
- More quests to deepen the story
- More enemies with more complex behaviors
- New mechanics, along with further polishing and improvements
- A co-op mode for those who want to test themselves as a team against the dangers of the Cargo Hunters world”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Most of the core/metagame features and mechanics are already in the game.
The Early Access version includes:
- Around 20 hours of quest-driven gameplay
- Two large maps
- 350+ unique items to loot
- 38+ unique weapons, 230+ unique weapon mods, and 15+ ammo calibers with regular, armor-piercing, and explosive variants
- 84+ wearable equipment pieces, including ballistic vests, helmets, backpacks, chest rigs, armored chest rigs, masks, and helmet modifications
- 127+ unique body parts with individual characteristics, perks, and upgrade mods
- Dynamic in-session game phases, exit conditions, and AI behavior
- A character leveling system
- Crafting, recycling, and shelter upgrades
- Body part dissection and swapping
- A weapon customization system
- Equipment durability and repair mechanics

About This Game

We have lost everything. Somehow we keep on moving.

Cargo Hunters is a third-person extraction PvE/co-op shooter in which you control a remote-controlled humanoid robot to scavenge resources on a decaying Earth.

Collect and lose loot. Build your shelter. Face challenges. Battle enemies. Fall. Rise. Survive no matter how you define survival.

A forgotten home.

After the global temperature rise, mankind faced the emergence of superviruses released from the melting Antarctic ice. Within a few years, they wiped out everything that moved, grew, or breathed.

Those with wealth or power escaped the dying Earth, fleeing to [classified] during the 'Second Exodus' colonization program in [classified]. Just before the first outbreak. Now they’re paying a ton of money to get their shiny, useless memorabilia back.

Escape before it's too late.

It’s all about you and how you get the job done. Brute force, sneak, steal, craft, buy, find. Do what you will.

But once you lose, you lose everything you’ve found. So think carefully. Equip pragmatically.

Carrying capacity, weight, noise, condition—everything matters.

The world’s dead. The loot isn’t.

You already have a human-shaped body. So wear human clothes or armor. Use their weapons. Add replaceable limbs. Dismember the fallen. Harvest their body parts. Recycle what’s unnecessary. That is the daily routine.

Choose your weapons wisely.

A lot of firearms brings a lot of trouble (and fun). Different specs, ballistics, conditions, ammo types, modifications, and handling.

So it’s up to you: what do you prefer? Blunt force, maybe? Huh.
