What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Part of our studio has previous experience with Early Access and we really liked this way of developing games together with the community. Since we're making a game where players can hang out, explore, and create their own gameplay, we want players’ input to help guide which direction we take the project in.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to work on the Early Access version for another one to two years. There are still many features we would like to add, and we’re also very open to extending that list based on community feedback. We expect that after about two years we will have a version that feels complete, though we plan to continue supporting the game with regular updates even after leaving Early Access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more game modes, including additional multiplayer options. We also want to expand the city with a larger, more detailed map and introduce more activities for players when they’re not racing; more of a “playground” experience that encourages exploration and creativity. Overall, we aim to increase the variety, depth, and long-term replayability of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is currently in a fully playable state, with the core experience already implemented. Players can free roam or race together with friends, explore several distinct city areas, and compare their performance on leaderboards. The foundation of the gameplay loop is in place, and we’re now focused on expanding and refining it.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We haven’t decided on the final price yet. Depending on how much content and how many features we add during Early Access, we may increase the price once we leave Early Access if we feel the value of the game has grown significantly. We don’t expect any drastic price changes.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to heavily involve the community throughout development, including support for user-generated content. We host an active Discord server where players can talk directly with the team, share suggestions, report issues, and help shape upcoming features.”

About This Game

Okay, OKAY, listen, if you’re new to Sprint City, the first thing you need to understand is this:

See, Sprint City never got around to inventing wheels. And honestly? Why would we? Humanity discovered momentum instead. The whole city was built around the idea that if you’re not moving, you’re falling behind. Rooftops are slanted just enough to keep up your flow, rails exist mostly to grind across, and grapple hooks have been here longer than doorknobs.

Some people run casually.

Some people run competitively.

The Runagades run like their very soul depends on winning.

And the best part?

In this competitive 2D platformer from the original creators of SpeedRunners, you can race in lobbies of 8 Runagades online in high-intensity matches or race solo against the clock in time trials. In the shared world, you’ll run your way across multiple city districts full of shortcuts. You’ll fall. You’ll fail. And then you’ll nail the perfect run that makes the city feel like it’s cheering for you.

FEATURES

  • Built for Speed: Tight, responsive controls make every sprint, jump, and swing feel fast, fluid, and addictive.

  • Parkour Momentum: Wall-run, grapple, and chain together stylish freerunning moves to keep your speed alive and outrun anyone else in the city.

  • Multiplayer That Moves: Race or free-roam with other players online, and challenge others throughout the world to climb the leaderboards.

  • Play on Steam or party up via browser play: Jump in with other players on Steam, or party up and invite several friends to join for free via their browser.

  • Urban Playground: Discover and explore open districts packed with shortcuts, rooftops, and hidden routes built for honing that perfect line.

The city offers only one law:
