《Shadow Tactics》是為硬派玩家設計的策略潛行遊戲，背景設定於日本江戶時代。

操控致命的專家小隊，在許多敵人間潛伏於暗影中。選擇你想要的方法潛入巨大城堡、雪山修道院或隱密的森林營地。設置陷阱、毒害對手或完全避開與敵人正面交鋒。

小隊成員的個性大不相同。一開始，團隊執行任務似乎是不可能的事。但隨任務不斷進行，信任及友誼慢慢的產生。角色發展出了自身的動力，每個人也都必須面對心中的惡魔。

敏捷的忍者隼人是隊伍的其中一位領袖，他用劍和手裡劍無聲地清理路上的敵人。武士無限則偏好更暴力的手段，他能一次打敗多名敵人，不過少了靈活性。愛子擅長偽裝，能透過藝妓裝扮分散敵人注意力。流浪兒童小雪會放置陷阱，誘騙敵人踏上死亡之路。神秘狙擊手拓馬裝備的狙擊槍，能從遠方直接拿下敵人。

玩家必須小心評估選擇，才能在充滿挑戰性的任務過關：該名角色在團隊的表現會是如何？誰最適合這個任務？他們該如何完美達成任務？想出你獨特的巧妙戰術，打敗敵人並將任務完成。
