About This Demo

This is the demo version of Dire Echo—an atmospheric, first-person psychological sci-fi horror walking simulator set in deep space.

After a series of magnetic flares, communication with the research station ECHO-7 suddenly goes dark. No confirmed data: no reports, no distress signal, no explanation. You’re ordered to reach the station and recover critical documents. On paper, it’s a simple assignment—but no one can tell you what you’ll find beyond the airlock.

Dire Echo Demo is your first arrival at ECHO-7: docking procedures, initial checks, and your first steps through a station that seems to be functioning too normally… yet something is undeniably wrong. Here, fear comes from silence, interference, tiny details, and the creeping sense that you’re stepping into an event that already began without you.
