You are Eldina, a "Shtriga" (Witch), hated by her own people for blood she did not choose.

Fatebound: Blood of Shtriga is a narrative-driven, third-person, action RPG set in a reimagined medieval South-East Europe, where folklore is not decoration but law. Oaths bind, curses carry weight and power is never free.

A WORLD SHAPED BY BELIEF

Play as Eldina, a young woman marked by the bloodline of the Shtriga. Hunted by villagers who fear her, pursued by soldiers who would burn her, she survives by moving through the shadows, reading her enemies and paying the cost of forbidden magic. She carries one inheritance worn against her skin, an amulet older than her memory. It is the only thing her mother left her and it may be the only thing keeping her alive.

You are more than a warrior. You are something older, far more dangerous.

KEY FEATURES

Asymmetric survival combat: You are physically outmatched. Trained soldiers, armored guards and sworn hunters can kill you easily. But you are smaller, faster and willing to go where they cannot follow. Observe, position and outthink, or die.

Curse rituals: Perform ritual minigames to lay curses upon your enemies: weaken them, blind them, bend them to fear. The more powerful the curse, the higher the stakes and failure does not leave you untouched.

Steal what binds them: The strongest curses require something personal: a lock of hair, a pendant, a token worn close to the skin. Slip past your target, take what ties them to themselves and turn it against them.

Backlash: A broken ritual does not simply fail. The curse recoils. Vision blurs, strength fails, the body betrays you. Power has a price and Eldina pays it first.

The Illyrian "sica": A curved blade built to bypass shields. Strike from the flank. Finish what your curses began.

Witch Sight: See what the world hides form you. Detect serpent sigils, ritual residue, the trails of oaths kept and broken. Folklore becomes a perception system.

Oaths that bind: "Besa", the sacred word. Keep it and doors open. Break it and entire regions turn against you. Your choices are not measured in good and evil. Instead, they are measured in blood, promise and memory.

Fatebound draws from the oral traditions of Albania and the wider Balkans, a folklore of moral ambiguity, communal dread and survival by wit rather than heroism. Real medieval locations, researched alongside cultural historians, become the backdrop for a world where magic is feared because it is real and where every protective charm hangs on a door for a reason.
