“We plan for the game to be in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. This timeline is a realistic estimate that allows us to be flexible and incorporate community feedback thoroughly. Our goal is to ensure the final 1.0 version is a polished, deeply replayable, and well-balanced experience that matches our community's expectations”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full 1.0 version of Outpost Market Simulator to be a much larger and more polished game. We aim to significantly expand the core foundation of building, selling, and defending based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This is a true Alpha build. The core gameplay loop is implemented and playable, but rough around the edges.

What you CAN do right now:

Start from the basic shop and expand your base tile-by-tile using the sandbox building system.

Use the Scavenger Company to order loot and manage your economy.

Craft and place essential items like Floors, Walls, and basic Turrets.

Place items on shelves for automated selling to NPC customers.

Experience the full day/night cycle and defend your outpost against the initial waves of enemies.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We are offering the game at a lower price during Early Access to thank our foundational community for their support and invaluable feedback. We plan to increase the price gradually as we add significant new content and features, with a final price increase upon the full 1.0 release. By buying now, you are getting the game at its lowest price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is the entire reason we are in Early Access. We are deeply committed to listening to our players.

Our primary communication hubs will be the Steam Community Forums and our official Discord server. We will be actively reading feedback, running polls for potential new features, and using your bug reports to prioritize our work.
