Lootbane is a roguelite RPG set in a world where loot is power, and risk is everything. Choose your hero, equip them with spoils of your victories, and gather a band of followers whose passive auras and active abilities stack and create powerful synergies. Plan the path, choose the best bonuses, and turn your pack of vagabonds into an ultimate loot-powered warband.

Journey through changing regions, where every turn presents a new choice: peaceful grasslands, wild steppes, volcanic wastelands, and many others. Dive into dungeons for rare gear, visit a mystery merchant, trade in town, recruit a helpful follower or explore cursed ruins. Every run tells a new story.

Dungeons Are Risky, But Profitable

Dungeons are all about risk-reward. Will you face a tough boss, dangerous traps, or find a much-needed healing shrine? Lootbane lets you focus on strategy and preparation, not button mashing. Play short runs for quick sessions or dive deep for big rewards.

Simple rules, Endless Choices

Items are randomized and you won’t know what power they hold unless you take them out of the dungeon or clear a combat encounter, turning every decision into a tense choice. It’s up to you to decide at the end of each run if you want to take your loot or delve deeper and risk it all. Each level deeper into the dungeon multiplies your gold and chances for legendary loot, but enemies are stronger and death erases all. Your power spike is always one floor below.
