About This Game

A classic 2D pinball game set in the afterparty world of Finland’s legendary snack kiosks - the snägäris. Fast, brutal, and lovingly old-school. In Finland, the real decisions are made at 3:30 a.m. in front of a flickering snack kiosk window.

Snägäri Pinball turns that late-night queue into a classic 2D pinball table packed with bad jokes, good music and way too many ways to lose your ball. Three buttons: left flipper, right flipper and bump/launch and a single, obsessively detailed table full of ramps, lanes, events and secrets.

This game is a love letter to old-school PC pinball with a very Finnish sense of humour: from party buses and “route 66” ring roads to seasonal celebrations and slightly questionable snack choices. Learn it in a minute, spend hours chasing that “one more run” high score.

Features at a glance

  • Pure 2D pinball - readable camera, snappy physics, no 3D clutter.

  • Hand-drawn graphics - easy to learn, packed with ramps, gates, ball locks and events.

  • Multiple rule sets & moods - Finnish Mode, Over-The-Top Mode, Analog Horror Mode and more.

  • Seasonal themes - Halloween, Christmas, Easter, summer and Independence Day looks.

  • Kids Mode - a fully safe, lockable mode with its own graphics, music and leaderboards.

  • Adult humour (optional) - late-night jokes, innuendo and silly songs when Kids Mode is off.

  • High scores & achievements - local and Steam leaderboards, plenty of achievements and a few secrets.

Typical game lasts 2 to 5 minutes for an average player, but a skilled one can keep the ball alive for much longer. The true skill of the gamers is measured in the length of the game.

One table, many moods

Snägäri Pinball lives on a single, tightly designed table – but its personality changes a lot depending on how you play:

  • Normal Pinball Game
Cleanest version of the table. Straightforward lighting and rules, perfect for learning shots, practising control and climbing the leaderboards.

  • Finnish Mode - “happiest people” edition
Darker nights, moodier colours and extra obstacles inspired by real Finnish nightlife. Expect falling bottles, slippery lanes and that “nine months of darkness, three of slightly less darkness” feeling.

  • Over-The-Top Mode - for when regular pinball isn’t enough
Sparks, lasers, cannons and a lot going on at once. Designed to keep overcaffeinated brains busy, with more effects, more chaos and more chances for ridiculous saves.

  • Analog Horror Mode - cozy dread on a CRT
Analog fuzz, distorted sound and an eerie twist on the same table. Ball-grabbing tendrils, strange messages and “someone is at the door” vibes – all wrapped around real pinball play, not cheap jump scares.

You can toggle these modes and visual effects on or off, so you decide if tonight’s snack bar mood is chill, loud or unsettling.

Seasonal snackbar

When enabled, the table follows the calendar with optional seasonal makeovers:

  • Halloween pumpkins and spooky visitors

  • Snowy Christmas nights and warm kiosk lights

  • Easter, summer parties and Finland’s Independence Day

  • Matching music and effects

Kids Mode – safe, silly pinball

Parents looking for something pinball-shaped but family-friendly can flip the whole game into Kids Mode from the start menu:

  • Replaces adult humour with kid-friendly art and messages

  • Uses its own lighter soundtrack and display texts

  • Hides nightlife, alcohol and rude jokes

  • Has separate kids-only leaderboards so children can compete on their own board

  • Can be locked on so the game always starts in Kids Mode

The core table and physics stay the same – just with a softer sense of humour.

Built for score-chasing and discovery

Under all the jokes it’s still serious about pinball:

  • Events and mini-modes – multiballs (late-night drink runs / soda runs), party bus rushes, snackbar rushes, ball locks, rolling gates, respawns and more.

  • Signature shots – hit the "Route 66" style curve, thread tight lanes, and unlock special modes by nailing specific combos.

  • High scores & achievements – local and global leaderboards per mode, plus a solid set of achievements and hidden tricks to find.

If you just want chill flipper time, the assists and comfort options let you tone things down. If you want to sweat over the last ball at 4 a.m. in front of a glowing kiosk sign… well, that’s kind of the whole point.
