Despair became a flame that could not be extinguished. The soul of his lost wife merged with the scythe, turning it into a living, dark weapon that feeds on pain and thirst for vengeance. Cracks appeared across the blade, pulsing with the light of her departed soul — her whisper now guides the hero through hell.

The player must walk a path of redemption and vengeance: fighting hordes of twisted creatures, exploring the fallen world, uncovering the secrets of the catastrophe, and searching for a way to save his daughter.
