About This Game

Four years after the previous title “GUNBIRD,” a new, even more powerful quintet arrives.

In addition to the “Level-Based Charge Shot Attack” that proved its worth in STRIKERS II,

a new attack system using the third button, “Close Combat,” makes its debut!

Furthermore, the familiar bonus item that “sparksleeks for 2000 points” now features

a “CHAIN System” for high scores through consecutive shots!

Of course, Marion and the three goofballs are back in action.

The range of fun expands even further as “GUNBIRD 2” takes flight!!

The new character designs are handled by

who brought the wonderful world of GUNBIRD to life in its comic adaptation.

● 8-way lever + 3-button controls.

● 8 stages total.

● Supports 2-player simultaneous play and mid-game join.

● Shot button has 3 charge levels.

● The third button, “Close Attack,” delivers an absolutely massive hit.

■ 8-way joystick

Used to move your ship.

■ A Button = Shot & Level (Charge) Attack

Power up to 4 levels by collecting P (Power-Up) items!

Hold down the A button (charge) to perform a level (charged) attack!

■ B Button = Bomb

Used for emergency evasion.

■ C Button = Close-Range Attack

Extremely powerful attack! However, it requires getting close to enemies,

making it a very dangerous tactic.

■ Level Gauge & Level Stock Gauge

Hitting enemies with shots increases the Level Gauge.

Levels 3 and above are added to the Stock Gauge.

Set across the globe, five troubled characters embark on an adventure

to obtain the legendary panacea

passed down since ancient times.

However, to acquire the panacea,

they must gather three secret potions:

the “Sun Fragment,” “Star Whisper,” and “Moon Dew,”

and reach the god residing in the phantom underground temple.

Along the way, a trio of villains led by a female pirate (sky pirate)

will use every trick in the book to block the characters' path.

Can they gather the three elixirs before the trio of villains

and safely obtain the universal cure!
