The Overview

In a kingdom where the tax collector is always watching, every coin is a gamble.

You are a humble merchant running a stall in a bustling medieval bazaar. Business is good - perhaps too good. The Crown demands its share of every sale, but gold in your pocket spends the same as gold on the books... if you can keep it hidden.

Tax Evasion Simulator is a first-person stealth-management game about greed, cunning, and the delicate art of looking innocent. Sell your wares, pocket your profits, and physically hide your illegal gold from Taximus, the kingdom's most relentless Tax Officer.

The Core Loop

Every transaction presents the same dangerous choice: log it or hide it?

Logged sales are taxed and safe. Hidden sales spawn physical gold pouches - evidence, that must be stashed in hiding spots around the map before the next audit. Leave a pouch in the open, and Taximus will find it. Get caught with too much hidden wealth, and its game over.

But the more you hide, the more suspicious you become. And when that suspicion meter fills, countdown begins. You have 120 seconds to secure your stashes before the random spot inspection starts.

Key Features

The Choice System

After every sale, decide to either pay your taxes like an honest merchant, or pocket the gold and deal with the consequences. There is no right answer, only risk and reward.

Physical Stashing

Untaxed gold exists as real objects in the world. Pick up your gold pouches, carry them to hiding spots, and remember where you put them when the audit comes.

The Suspicion System

Taximus patrols the marketplace. His awareness zone detects suspicious behavior, so if you interact with a stash while he's watching, leave evidence in the open, or simply act too greedy, your suspicion rises. High suspicion means more frequent, more thorough audits.

Audit Events

When the bells ring, you have two minutes. Act quickly to secure your hiding spots, move suspicious pouches away, and look busy. Then watch as Taximus searches your home, rolls discovery checks against your stashes, and calculates your fine or - quite possibly - your doom.

Companion Pets

Befriend stray cats and dogs to gain powerful allies. Cats will carry your gold pouches to hiding spots automatically. Dogs can distract Taximus during audits, buying you precious seconds. Feed them, care for them, and they'll save your skin.

The Black Market

When the sun sets, the Broker appears. Pay the entry fee in untaxed gold and gain access to money laundering services, insider information on upcoming audits, and rare items that can't be found anywhere else.

Risk vs. Reward

Every system in Tax Evasion Simulator feeds into one question: how greedy can you get before you get caught? Push your luck, expand your operation, and see how long you can withstand.

Four Skill Paths

Invest your earnings into four progression trees:

• Mercantile - Faster sales, better prices

• Security - Larger stash capacity, lower discovery chances

• Network - Reduced suspicion gain, conveniences in bribing and laundering

• Companionship - Stronger pet abilities, shorter cooldowns

When either path is fully maxed out and mastered, you unlock their individual special perks, that further help you out throughout the game.
