Why Early Access?

“Ballistic Brews has its core gameplay in place, but the game is still growing, and we want players to help decide where it goes next. During Early Access we plan to add new vehicles, weapons, items and gameplay systems, and player feedback will guide which ideas we pursue, what we build first and how those features work. Seeing how players experiment with builds and take on the harder difficulties will teach us far more than we could learn by developing alone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are currently aiming for about five months in Early Access, with a full release around June 2027. This is a target, not a promise. If player feedback points us toward bigger changes, or the game needs more time, we will extend Early Access and let players know.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to be a larger and deeper game than the Early Access version. Our current plans include:
- New vehicles, each with their own passives and weapon layouts
- More weapons and items, opening up new builds and strategies
- New enemies, elites and boss encounters
- New maps, if players want more variety in where they fight
- New gameplay systems, based on what players feel is missing
- Options for longer runs, which players have asked for
- More challenges and endgame content for veteran players
- Steam Achievements
- Balance, game feel and performance improvements guided by player feedback

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version has the core gameplay in place: 14 vehicles, 30+ weapons across three weapon slots, 100+ items, 15 waves with bosses and elite enemies, 5 difficulty levels and an endgame challenge mode. Runs take under 25 minutes. The game supports controllers and Steam Deck and is playable in 10 languages. New content and systems will be added during Early Access, so expect balance and features to change as the game grows.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price the same throughout Early Access. As more content and features are added, the price may increase when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We read Steam reviews and discussions, and players can reach us through our Discord and the in-game feedback survey. We will use these to ask what players want to see next, and their feedback will directly shape our balance changes and what we build. Every update comes with patch notes, and we share our plans through Steam announcements.”
