About This Demo

《Hoptale》 is a Roguelite with a core of “Hopscotch × Slot Machine.”

Explore, gather, fish, and solve puzzles through hopscotch gameplay;

In battle, the tiles transform into a slot machine, and you must lock onto safe paths to defeat monsters;

Even loot and rewards are decided by the slot machine—your fate lies in your reflexes!

Story Background

The story begins in the hero’s village, where you set out to rescue villagers and your missing sister, kidnapped by cultists of the Evil God. Along the way, you’ll meet many characters!

On this land already corrupted by the Evil God, face off against mighty bosses!

Expand your base, unlock new playable characters, and experiment with countless grid effects to create bizarre and unique builds!

Events on Your Journey

During your adventure, bosses may suddenly give chase,

but—but—don’t panic! Who knows, maybe while running away you’ll stumble upon legendary gear (?

Battles, shops, gathering, and even upgrades—all decided by slot machine results!
