There is no sexual content in the game. Battles do occur but they are highly abstracted; consisting of two portraits on either side of the screen and dice rolled in a box between them. Players may have cards by the box with pictures of weapons on them.

References and allusions are made to madness, loss, injury and hospitalization. These are, for the most part, played straight though they are not heavily emphasized or dwelt on.
