COMING SOON !!

🎣 Big September Update Incoming!

Hey everyone!

I’ve been working hard on the next major update for Bait & Tackle Store Simulator, and I’m excited to share some of what’s coming when it releases in late September.

This update focuses heavily on improving the overall gameplay experience, progression, presentation, and atmosphere of the game.

🏪 Store Progression Improvements

The store now has a much clearer progression system.

As you level up, you’ll gradually unlock:

  • More products to sell

  • Commercial Fridges

  • Stock Room access

  • Store expansions

  • Freezers

  • The Reel Spooling Service

  • Larger customer numbers and bigger shopping baskets

The aim is to make each new store level feel more rewarding and give you something new to work towards.

💻 New Order Terminal

The product ordering computer has been redesigned into a full catalogue-style terminal.

You can now clearly see your available products, wholesale prices, retail prices, quantities, and locked products.

Products you haven’t unlocked yet will also show the required store level.

🎣 Reel Spooling Service

At higher store levels, customers can visit specifically to have their fishing reels spooled.

This gives you another way to earn money outside normal product sales and adds another activity to your growing tackle shop.

📦 Stock Room Storage

The Stock Room now has functional overflow storage, allowing you to keep additional stock organised instead of having everything sitting around the store.

🌲 New Environment

A big part of this update has been improving the environment surrounding the tackle shop.

The area has been refreshed to make the world feel more alive and more enjoyable to explore.

Improvements include:

  • Updated outdoor scenery

  • Improved lake and shoreline areas

  • New environmental details around the shop

  • Improved lighting and atmosphere

  • Better day and night visuals

  • Updated sky and environment visuals

  • More life around the world, including fishermen by the lake

🌙 Day, Night & Weather Improvements

The atmosphere of the game has also received several improvements.

Nighttime is now darker and more atmospheric, exterior and street lighting has been improved, and the weather system has received additional work.

The goal is to make each in-game day feel more varied while giving the shop and surrounding town a stronger atmosphere.

🖥️ UI Improvements

A large part of the update has also been dedicated to cleaning up the user interface.

The HUD, checkout, notifications, receipts, reel spooling interface, daily summary, and interaction prompts have all received visual improvements to make everything cleaner and easier to read.

🎣 Fishing

Fishing will continue to be available from the beginning of the game as a simple way to make some extra money away from the shop.

I want to keep fishing simple and relaxing while the main focus remains on building and managing your tackle store.

There are also plenty of smaller fixes, quality-of-life changes, and improvements included that aren’t listed here.

The update is currently planned for late September.

Thank you to everyone who has played, wishlisted, followed, or supported Bait & Tackle Store Simulator.

I’m still learning and developing the game as a solo developer, and your feedback continues to help shape the game.

I can’t wait for you to try the new update! 🎣
