About This Demo

Otterly Lost is a cozy, story-rich adventure about wonder, friendship, and finding where you belong. You play as Otto, a curious sea otter who got swept away from his mountain home after a strange and sudden natural disaster.

Carried downriver and into the open sea, Otto must now find his way back through an island full of wonders, secrets, and surprises.

This demo offers a glimpse into Otto's journey. Experience the beginning of the adventure while the full game is in development.

Much like sea otters in nature, who play an important role in keeping marine ecosystems in harmony, Otto’s journey turns out to be about more than just getting home.

After a mysterious earthquake shakes the island, something feels off. Now it's up to you to set things right and restore the balance of nature! Along your journey, you will meet cute and sometimes mysterious animals, get to know them and their stories, lend a paw in their troubles, and slowly learn how everything is connected.

In this demo, discover the opening chapters of Otto's mission to understand what's happening on the island and begin helping its inhabitants.

It’s an open-world game, so you can go at your own pace and discover every corner of the island and the surrounding underwater.

Swim through mysterious caves, shipwrecks and kelp forests, glide above rocky canyons and sunny beaches, or simply roam through rich terrains and forests. Every step (or splash) uncovers something new: a story, a view, or a quiet moment to take in.

This demo features a curated section of the world where you can freely explore and experience Otto's movement and discovery at your leisure.

Otters know a thing or two about using tools, especially rocks! As you explore the island, you’ll gather useful gear to help you out: dig up hidden shells, smash through obstacles blocking your way, and zip across tricky gaps. You’ll also upgrade your natural abilities, learning to swim faster, jump higher, climb easier, and glide further.

This game is all about wandering, discovering, and helping others at your own pace. Along the way, you’ll face light platforming and puzzles that add just the right touch of challenge – fun, rewarding, and never too intense. It’s a warm, curious adventure where cozy exploration and playful problem-solving go paw in paw.

The demo introduces Otto's core abilities and tools, giving you a taste of the movement, upgrades, and gentle challenges that define the full experience.
