What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“No Serial is still in an early stage, but the basic idea and main gameplay direction are already playable enough for feedback. We want to use Early Access to develop the game with players

A lot of the game is still open to change, including progression, workshop gameplay, order variety, NPC interaction, balancing, risk/heat systems, and future content. Player feedback will be a big part of deciding what we improve, expand, or rework.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect No Serial to stay in Early Access for around 6–12 months, but this may change depending on development progress and player feedback.

Since many parts of the game are still being shaped, we do not want to promise an exact date too early. We will keep players updated as development continues.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to be much more complete than the Early Access version. We plan to add more content, more progression, more content and gameplay upgrades, better workbench interactions, improved balancing, more order types, more risks, better UI/UX, audio improvements, and more overall polish.

Some bigger parts of the game are still not finished yet. For example, the game does not currently have a full map system, and some planned workbench minigames/interactions are still in development. These systems and many others may change a lot depending on what players enjoy and what feedback we receive during Early Access.

Our goal is for the full version to feel more complete, more replayable, and more clearly shaped by the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently focuses on the basic workshop gameplay loop: taking orders, using workshop stations, managing money and inventory, completing deliveries, and dealing with early risk/heat systems.

The game is playable, but it is not complete. Some systems are simple, unfinished, or placeholder. The current version does not yet represent the full final vision of the game. Players should expect bugs, missing content, balancing changes, unfinished interactions, and possible changes to progression and mechanics during development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may increase the price later as the game gets more content, features, and polish. The Early Access price reflects the current unfinished state of the game.

If the price changes during Early Access or at full release, we will communicate that clearly before it happens.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be very important for No Serial. Since many parts of the game are still not final, we want player feedback to help steer development.

We plan to use Steam forums, our Discord channel, Community Hub posts, patch notes, feedback discussions, and bug reports to understand what players like, what feels boring, what needs balancing, and what features should be prioritized next.

Feedback may affect progression, economy, workbench gameplay, order variety, difficulty, UI, future content, and even the overall direction of some systems.”

About This Game

You start with a small backroom operation and slowly build it into something bigger. Accept jobs, gather materials, use your workstations, prepare the requested weapons, and deliver them to the right people. Some orders are simple. Others are riskier, pay more, and bring more attention.

Craft Weapons

Use different workstations to craft and prepare weapons for clients. Each order requires the right materials, tools, and steps before it is ready to sell.

Take Orders and Make Sales

Clients will request different weapons depending on their needs. Complete the order, deliver the item, and get paid. As your reputation grows, better clients and riskier deals become available.

Upgrade Your Operation

Use the money you earn to improve your workshop, unlock better tools, expand your setup, and handle more valuable orders.

Avoid Getting Caught

The more your business grows, the more attention it brings. Manage your risk, be careful with deals, and try to keep the operation running without drawing too much heat.

Grow From a Small Workshop

No Serial is about building something illegal from the ground up — not as a hero, not as a mastermind, but as someone trying to turn a hidden workshop into a serious business without losing control of it.
