About This Game

PITANIE is a narrative horror in the spirit of Undertale, set in a grim Soviet factory where everyone around you carries something dark inside. Sooner or later it comes out.

You are Sergei, a security guard at a Soviet factory. You have a stone hand housing the soul of your dying mother. Your colleagues are all around: someone asks for a favor, another shares their problems, someone is simply drinking tea. One day, do you kill them all? Or do you save them?

There are no "good" or "evil" buttons. Only choices—and their price. But reality around you is relentlessly distorting, dragging everyone into a clinging, surreal, hellish nightmare. The deeper you sink into this madness, the more often you will face a terrifying choice: risk yourself for the people who just shared a table with you, or sacrifice them for your own survival.

Every boss is the personal nightmare of someone you know. Intense bullet-hell encounters where the enemy talks to you while it attacks. And every time the entire visual world of the game transforms with the boss — four distinct visual languages, from Soviet industrial graphics to something else entirely.

Behind every boss is a story. Behind every story — your daytime decisions. A hidden influence system quietly builds something dark inside you. The game is watching. And at some point it will remind you of everything.
