Ce que l'équipe de développement a à dire :

Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« We are releasing ProjectX in Early Access because we want to build this project with real player feedback while the foundation is still flexible.

ProjectX is a physics-based sandbox, and games like this take time to feel right. The handling, terrain, camera, customization, progression, content tools, and overall structure all benefit from players spending time with the game and telling us what feels good, what feels wrong, and what creates the most replayable moments.

Please do not buy ProjectX if you are expecting a finished game. Buy it only if you want to play the current version and are comfortable with bugs, missing features, unfinished systems, and major changes during development. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We currently expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 5–10 years. This is a long-term project, and we plan to continue expanding and refining the game significantly throughout Early Access. The exact timing will depend on development progress and when we feel the game has reached the scope and quality we want for a full release. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The full version is expected to have more polish, more content, more stable systems, and a clearer overall structure than the Early Access launch version.

During Early Access, we expect to continue improving the riding physics, bike handling, trails, challenges, customization, performance, user experience, and community-facing systems. We may also explore additional physics-based sports or activities inside ProjectX, but these should be treated as development direction, not guaranteed launch features.

The final shape of ProjectX will depend on development progress, player feedback, and what proves to be the most fun in practice. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The current version is playable but unfinished.

At Early Access launch, ProjectX includes physics-based mountain bike riding, a selection of trails, bike customization, rider customization, and the early foundation of the broader sandbox we are building.

Players should expect bugs, rough edges, missing features, balance issues, incomplete content, and systems that may change significantly over time. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« Pricing may change as ProjectX grows and more content, features, and polish are added.

We want the price to reflect the state of the project at each stage of development. If the game becomes larger or more complete over time, the price may increase. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« Community feedback will help us understand what feels best, what needs work, and what players want more of.

We are especially interested in feedback around bike handling, physics feel, terrain interaction, trail design, challenges, customization, performance, and replayability. We will be listening to player feedback, watching how people play, and using that information to help guide development.

Not every suggestion will make it into the game, and we cannot promise specific requested features. Our goal is to use feedback carefully while staying focused on building the strongest version of ProjectX we can. »

À propos de ce jeu

ProjectX is a physics-based extreme sports sandbox from Mash Games, currently focused on mountain biking.

At launch, ProjectX is about riding a mountain bike, learning how it reacts to terrain, finding lines, customizing your setup, and experimenting inside a growing physics sandbox. The goal is not to build a traditional story-driven game or career mode. The goal is to build a responsive, replayable simulation space where the fun comes from movement, mastery, experimentation, and emergent moments.

Right now, mountain biking is the focus because that is where we have found the most fun in our current prototypes. You can ride a bike, explore the available trails, customize your bike and rider, and experience the early foundation of the physics and handling systems we are building.

ProjectX is not intended to be permanently limited to one sport or activity. Over time, we may explore other physics-based sports and playable activities within the same project.

The World We Are Building

We are currently building one medium-sized bike park and discovering how to create that world as development continues. Some parts of the park are already fun to ride, so we would like to begin sharing them with players while we continue working on the rest.

ProjectX is not an open-world game, and we are not working toward making it one. The current world is a focused bike park map designed around a smaller number of carefully built trails.

The riding terrain is authored by hand rather than generated procedurally. Berms, jumps, transitions, and trail sections are shaped deliberately so that even a short run can remain interesting after repeated attempts. Our priority is not the size of the map. It is making the available singletrack feel as good as we can make it.

We are not trying to manufacture a broad open-world adventure. We want learning a trail, discovering faster lines, improving your time, and gaining control over the bike to become an experience of its own.

ProjectX is also not intended to be the most realistic mountain biking simulation possible. We are artists and developers trying to communicate the parts of riding that we find most enjoyable. Physics and realism matter, but they may be interpreted, adjusted, or exaggerated in service of control, expression, and fun. “Sim-cade” may be the closest description of the current approach.

Early Access

This is an Early Access project in the most literal sense. It is unfinished. It will have bugs. It will change. Some systems, trails, and content may be rebuilt, removed, expanded, or replaced as development continues.

If you want a finished, polished, content-complete product, please wait until ProjectX leaves Early Access.

If you want to ride what we are building now, support development, give feedback, and be part of the process while the foundation is still being shaped, we would be grateful to have you along for the ride.

Third-Party Account Required

ProjectX requires a mod.io account and acceptance of the mod.io Terms of Use to play.

ProjectX uses mod.io as part of its foundation for player content, customization, community-driven systems, and future mod support. Because these systems are part of how ProjectX is being built, players are required to create or connect a mod.io account and agree to the mod.io Terms of Use before accessing the game.

Please do not purchase ProjectX if you are not willing to create or connect a mod.io account or agree to the mod.io Terms of Use.

What ProjectX Is Not

ProjectX is not a finished game.

ProjectX is not an open-world game.

ProjectX is not a story mode game.

ProjectX is not a traditional career mode sports game.

ProjectX is not intended to be a completely realistic simulation.
