About This Game

M.O.L.E. is a simulator horror experience about madness, ritual, and the depths we choose to dig.

You are the Navigator aboard a deep-bore vessel, a colossal drilling machine sent to pierce
the earth and find something long buried.

But the crew is gone. The vessel is silent. And the Signal won’t stop calling.

Operate failing systems, solve diegetic puzzles, and unravel the mystery behind your missing
crew. Keep the vessel alive as you descend into impossible depths, and into the erosion
of your own sanity.

Piece by piece, you will uncover the weight of your past…
and the horrifying realization that you might not be alone down there.

Operate the drill’s navigation systems, charting depth, speed and pressure as you guide a
massive drilling machine deeper into the Earth. You will have to adapt to different
conditions, balancing speed and stability as the machine forces its way underground,
capturing the weight of being the drill’s navigator.

Manipulate the vessel’s systems through tactile, diegetic interfaces; rotating dials, flicking
switches, typing on keyboards, and tuning frequencies. The puzzles are grounded in the
machinery itself, demanding hands-on interaction where gameplay and simulation merge.

Spiral into your own history as fragments of your memory surface with choices that refuse to
stay buried. Memory and faith blur together as the Signal grows stronger. But memory is not
your only company; something prowls the vessel’s empty halls. The creaks in the hull reminds
you that survival means more than keeping the machine alive,
it means outlasting whatever is sharing your coffin.

Features

  • Fully diegetic simulation — Interact directly with tactile machinery. No menus or abstractions. All information is conveyed through in-world instruments, displays, and environments.

  • Horror through claustrophobia — Experience the suffocating spaces of a machine that has become your world. The only voices left may not be human.

  • Classic PSX-style visuals — A grainy, analog aesthetic inspired by 1980s industrial horror that fuses the rough, lo-fi textures of classic PSX horror with the lighting and detail of modern rendering, creating a world that feels both nostalgic and disturbingly alive.
