What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access because Fire at Me is built around unique mechanics—using weapon recoil as both movement and combat—that benefit greatly from player feedback. The game’s core loop is already fun and functional, but balancing weapons, refining maps, and polishing multiplayer systems all require input from real players.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect the EA to stay for around a year. We expect to use this time to refine the game mechanics and create more engaging content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the future, we plan to include additional maps and weapons that will increase the variety of movement and combat styles. We are also considering introducing character skills to give the players new ways of participating in vertical battles.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game has an entirely complete game loop. There is a complete lobby system for multiplayer connections, 4 playable maps, and 15+ unique weapons to fight with. All the features listed in "About This Game" are already implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No firmly decision is made on pricing. Our current plan is to keep it free to play.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community via continuous feedback channels, including the Steam forums and our Discord server, where players can suggest features, inform us about bugs, and share ideas. Regular updates and dev logs will highlight how community input actually shapes new maps, weapon balance, and gameplay functionality.”
