Early Access lets us grow the game alongside the community—balancing bosses, fine-tuning difficulty, and expanding the roster of weapons, passives, and arenas based on real feedback. We want players to help shape what strategies feel powerful, what needs adjusting, and what new content you’d love to see.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Boss Battle Arena to remain in Early Access for 6–12 months while we expand content and polish the experience. That timeline may shift depending on player feedback and how much new content we add. While in Early Access the players can expect regular content and polishing updates until the game is complete. ”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will feature:
Additional weapons and weapon fusions (beyond the already wide selection).

Expanded passive item pool for deeper build variety.

New arenas and wave types to test survival strategies.

Improved progression systems to encourage long-term replayability.

Enhanced polish, performance optimizations, and quality-of-life features based on community feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Boss Battle Arena is fully playable with:

10 unique bosses to choose from.

A large pool of weapons and passive items.

Weapon fusion system: combine two of the same weapon to create stronger tiers.

A survivors-like roguelike arena mode with waves of “heroes” who attack in increasing difficulty.

Core gameplay loop of dashing, auto-attacking, and surviving as long as possible.

20 waves with hours and hours of potential play time per run!

The game is stable, fun, and already features multiple viable builds, but more content and polish are on the way.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will increase when we leave Early Access to reflect the additional content and features. Buying early means getting the game at a lower price while helping shape development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is central to Boss Battle Arena’s development. We’ll actively read and respond to comments in the Steam Community forums and share progress through devlogs and patch notes. We’ll also gather input on new weapons, bosses, and features players want most. The goal is to build the game together—making it fun, balanced, and full of replay value.”
