About This Content

NEW LEADERS

PLATINUM SCION

“Money can’t get you everything. But nothing else comes close.”

  • Cyber Affinity: Anything shiny and tech-heavy catches the Scion’s eye. Start with Cyber units and gain early access to Cyber technologies.

  • The Sure Thing: Even in the apocalypse, the Scion knows the art of the deal. Pay minerals to get a larger amount back, later.

  • Economies of Scale: He may be superficial, but the Scion understands production lines. Unit cost is progressively reduced with each duplicate.

  • Just Ship It: The Scion cares not for product testing or safety, only for a quick buck. Non-hero units are produced with a random debuff.

  • Personal Visit (Elite): His handshake and a smile are almost as motivating as his mercurial mood. Spend influence to increase the output of all the buildings on a tile.

INFINITE COUNT

“Once more, we meet for the first time.”

  • Voice Affinity: Stuck halfway into the Voice, the Count is closer to it, however unwillingly. Start with Voice units and gain early access to Voice technologies.

  • Perfect Forever: Certain moments of death and horror seem to summon iterations of the Count. Spend influence to mark a unit which, when killed, spawns a Caitiff.

  • Time Out of Joint: The Count can take followers with him on his temporal wanderings - though their health is sapped. Spend influence to restore the action points and movement of a unit at the cost of their hitpoints.

  • Ageless Hunger: The Count’s presence is a constant drain on the lives of his people. Population growth rate is decreased, but killing enemies temporarily boosts growth.

  • See As I See (Elite): Others can be subjected to the Count’s disoriented atemporal experience of the world. Spend influence to reduce enemy morale over a large area.

NEW UNITS

  • Rangers (Human, Tier 3): Biological infantry with short range weapons trained for ambushing from covered positions.

  • Jaeger R-2 (Human, Tier 4): Large mechanical robot constructed for frontal assaults.

  • Caitiffs (Voice, Tier 3): Biological melee monsters that hobble enemies, burn easily and return to life after death.

  • Chosen of Throkos (Voice, Tier 4): Large biological worm that can tunnel and ruin enemy fortifications.

  • Anashim Enforcers (Cyber, Tier 3): Bio-mech infantry that can adjust its function to many situations.

  • Galgalim Orb (Cyber, Tier 4): Large mechanical orb that ignores zone of control and overwhelms enemies with its laser array or crushes them under its weight.

  • Acrin Spawnrider (Acrin): Large biological flyer that defiles its enemies and bolsters the morale of its allies.

NEW OPERATIONS

  • Tactical Insertion (Human, Tier 5): Deploys Rangers on target tile. Sub Rosa Specialists (Tier 6) upgrade increases Ranger level.

  • Vorodai's Bargain (Voice, Tier 5): Sacrifice own unit to gain influence. Willing Sacrifices (Tier 6) upgrade increases influence gain.

  • Clone Wave (Cyber, Tier 5): Increases accumulated growth in target allied city. Accelerated Ligation (Tier 6) upgrade increases growth gain.

NEW ITEMS

  • Holo Decoy (Human, Uncommon): Grants cover damage reduction to target unit.

  • Planar Phlebotomizer (Voice, Uncommon): Creates Bleed on target tile.

  • Invasive Auditor (Cyber, Uncommon): Increases damage of target unit.

NEW OUTPOSTS

  • Reaver Depot: Provides influence and minerals, and every 20 turns spawns Reavers or Busters.

  • Atmospheric Anchor: Provides energy and chips, and every 10 turns grants an ability that damages target enemy unit.

NEW QUESTS

  • The Martial Ethic (Early-game): Your troops are slipping into Karro’s cult-run cage fights to win “the Quakecaller,” a fault-shattering device—do you back a true champion, or shut the ring down?

  • Storm of Storms (Mid-game): A fallen Acrin ship is gutted by Apolline’s scavengers—its stolen terraforming core now births a city-bound superstorm; will you break the weather, or bend it?

  • City in the Clouds (Late-game): A disc-city punches your skyline, then vanishes into overcast—soldiers brawling on its rooftops as it fell; can you track the flying metropolis and claim its loyalties before it claims yours?

  • Becoming Unbound (Infinite Count): A book falls—and time wrenches you loose; siphon seconds from your council to stand, then choose your thread—kings or poets—before the next pull chooses for you.

  • Touch The Sky (Platinum Scion): Daed Phinnicus’s holomemo brands you a failson before the board; you counter with a vow to carve your face into the sun—can you turn humiliation into legacy?

NEW MUTATORS

  • Is Wisdom The Measure Of Worth? (Unrestricted): Doubled experience gain.

  • What Am I, Truly? (Unrestricted): Doubled unit production speed.

  • Did I Doom My Friends? (Infinite Count): Unsighted tiles become unexplored each turn.

  • Was I The Best Person Alive Or What? (Platinum Scion): Accumulated resources compound at 10% per turn.

NEW MUSIC

  • Exploration: 4 minutes 58 seconds of enticing wondrous harmonies.

  • Human (Mid-game): 5 minutes 33 seconds of hard rock militaristic beats.

  • Cyber (Mid-game): 6 minutes 2 seconds of sharp methodical synths.

  • Voice (Mid-game): 5 minutes 25 seconds of primal ominous melodies.
