Story Overview

The story takes place in the ancient mountain stronghold of Jiantan.
As a child, Lin Chengdong entered into a mysterious spiritual contract with the City God.

The contract erased his memories of the agreement and sealed his fate—

he will die at the age of 21 and serve as one of the City God’s spiritual officers afterward.

Years later, with the final year of his life already underway, an unexpected visitor appears:

Alice — the acting City God.

She asks for his cooperation, but her request is shocking:

She wants Lin Chengdong to give up his remaining year of life and assume the duties of the City God immediately.

As mysteries, vengeful spirits, and century-old grudges intertwine,

your choices will determine his fate — and the fate of the entire mountain stronghold.
