The King's Bargain is a dark fantasy Action RPG where combat, survival, loot, and party management collide.

Lead a band of survivors through a kingdom consumed by a devastating curse. Hunt corrupted creatures, build your party, discover powerful equipment, master different weapons and elements, and grow strong enough to face the horrors born from the King's Bargain.

Recruit survivors and build a party around your playstyle. Take control of different party members, equip them individually, develop their attributes, and decide how each survivor contributes to your journey.

• Manage multiple survivors with their own equipment and attributes.

• Build characters around Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Perception, and Communication.

• Equip weapons, armor, accessories, and Skill Books.

• Use Communication to improve bargaining and recruitment.

• Develop specialized fighters instead of making every survivor identical.

Discover hundreds of items including weapons, armor, accessories, consumables, materials, and Skill Books. Equipment can roll bonuses to attributes, Health, Armor, Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Life Steal, elemental damage, survival stats, and more.

Six rarity tiers define the hunt for increasingly powerful equipment:

Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic

Stronger enemies provide better opportunities for powerful loot, while elites and bosses grant additional loot rolls.

CREATE YOUR BUILD

Your weapon determines more than your attack animation it defines how you build your character.

• Melee Weapons rely primarily on Strength and reward aggressive close-range combat.

• Bows scale primarily with Dexterity and reward mobility and critical strikes.

• Crossbows hit harder, pierce enemies, and can penetrate armor.

• Wands scale with Intelligence and specialize in magical and elemental attacks.

• Skill Books give access to powerful physical and magical abilities.

Spend earned Skill Points across specialized branches and create builds around weapon damage, critical strikes, attack speed, spell power, cooldown reduction, area damage, survivability, and unique weapon mechanics.

🔥 COMBINE THE ELEMENTS

Elements aren't just different colors of damage.

Weapons, equipment, skills, and even some companions can specialize in different elements, each carrying its own combat effect.

• Fire burns enemies over time.

• Electric can stun enemies.

• Flowing slows targets.

• Crystal breaks enemy armor.

• Arcanic marks enemies for increased damage.

• Plasma combines immediate bonus damage with burning.

But combining elements is where things become dangerous.

Fire + Flowing → STEAM BURST

Trigger an area explosion that damages nearby enemies.

Crystal + Electric → SHATTER

Exploit shattered defenses for a powerful focused burst.

Arcanic + Active Element → ARCANE OVERLOAD

Detonate an existing elemental effect in a devastating area burst.

Mix weapons, skills, party members, and elemental effects to create your own combat combinations.

FACE THE CREATURES OF THE CURSE

The kingdom is filled with creatures twisted by the blight and the strongest of them will put your build to the test.

Learn their attacks, dodge deadly abilities, combine your skills and elements, and bring the right equipment before challenging powerful bosses.

And when they finally fall...

Take the loot.

🔨 CRAFT TO SURVIVE

What you find in the world can be just as important as what you kill.

Gather resources and use them to craft weapons, armor, potions, and other essential supplies.

Potions can restore Health, Sanity, Stamina, and Morale, while powerful elixirs provide temporary bonuses that can turn a difficult encounter in your favor.

Prepare before heading deeper into the cursed lands.

🐺 TAME THE WILD

Pets aren't just cosmetic followers.

Wild animals can be found throughout the kingdom. Discover what they like to eat, approach them with the right food, and they may become permanent companions. Some creatures can also be discovered and hatched from Pet Eggs.

Keep multiple companions in your stable and choose which one travels and fights beside you.

• Tame wild wolves, cats, eagles, snails, and more.

• Feed, play with, and groom your companions to increase their Bond.

• Level them up through combat and interaction.

• Pets roll random permanent traits when adopted.

• Different archetypes specialize as Guardians, Stalkers, Scouts, or Scavengers.

• Active companions can provide permanent bonuses to their owner while traveling together.

✨ NO TWO COMPANIONS HAVE TO BE THE SAME

Finding the animal you want is only the beginning.

Every companion can roll its own permanent element, traits, temperament, and owner bonuses, making some individuals much more valuable for certain builds than others.

Elemental companions visually change to reflect their affinity and can apply their element's combat effect when attacking enemies.

A particularly lucky discovery may even be a rare Shiny Beast — a noticeably larger and stronger version with improved stats and a much greater chance of carrying a powerful owner perk such as Critical Chance, Critical Damage, Life Steal, Move Speed, or Attack Speed.

Raise your companion's Bond to Devoted and it can unlock a unique Signature Ability based on its archetype.

SURVIVE A DYING KINGDOM

The curse doesn't wait for you.

Explore a hostile dark-fantasy world while balancing combat with the needs of your party. Hunger, Thirst, Morale, Sanity, Stamina, and Health all influence your ability to continue the journey.

Meet other survivors, trade equipment, bargain for better deals, gather resources, develop your party, and return to previously explored locations as you become strong enough to venture further.

Every weapon you find, every survivor you recruit, every companion you tame, and every choice you make brings you one step closer to the source of the curse.
