What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Mother Ducker is a fast-paced, chaotic multiplayer game where players steal ducklings from rival flocks while defending their own. Because it’s so centered around competition, balance, and emergent player behavior, Early Access lets us shape the experience alongside the community. Watching how real players strategize, troll, and surprise us will help refine the core loop and guide new content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to stay in Early Access for several months while we polish gameplay, squash bugs, and expand content. We’d rather keep it flexible and community-driven than lock ourselves to a rigid timeline.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full release to feature:

More maps and varied environments

Additional duckling types and power-ups

Expanded customization (skins, flairs, emotes)

Enhanced matchmaking, party systems, and leaderboards

Deeper game modes (ranked play, seasonal events, etc.)

These are goals, not promises, but the full version will be a more content-rich and polished evolution of the chaotic duckling heist fun players already enjoy.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the full core gameplay loop; stealing and defending ducklings in fast-paced rounds; plus working online multiplayer (soon to convert to steam matchmaking), basic cosmetics, and functional matchmaking. It’s stable and fully playable but still limited in map variety, content depth, and quality-of-life features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the game free during Early Access, but may introduce a small price later as we add more features to support further development. ”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be actively engaging with players through Steam forums, Discord, and social media. Player feedback will help shape balance changes, new feature priorities, and bug fixes. We plan to run community events, polls, and occasional public play tests to keep players involved and make them part of the flock (pun totally intended).”

About This Game

Mother Ducker is a chaotic multiplayer party brawler where 2–8 players battle it out to hoard as many ducklings as possible. Steal from rivals, defend your flock, and dodge the inevitable payback in fast-paced arena mayhem. The more ducklings you’ve got trailing behind you, the faster you move, but the juicier the target on your back; so dodge, chase, and outsmart your friends to prove who’s the ultimate duck wrangler. It’s a hilarious mashup of tag, keep-away, and tug-of-war; easy to pick up, impossible to put down.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Images and Audio were generated.

System Requirements

    Minimum:
    • OS: Win 10
    • Processor: A Potato, thinly sliced, air fried. Seriously an i5 (any Gen) is overkill.

    • Graphics: You can run it on a GTX P2000, but I wouldn't.
    • Storage: 101 MB available space
    Recommended:
    • OS: Our AI Overlord 2035
    • Processor: A working one.
    • Memory: 42069 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Yep, it will still have them
