About This Game

One Likvar Candidate Has Been Assigned to You.

A Likvar is a state-selected field operative with anomalous abilities.

Individuals possessing physical capabilities, heightened senses, or other phenomena beyond ordinary human limits are screened, classified, and assigned according to the nature and strength of their abilities. Likvars are deployed to disasters, criminal incidents, civil unrest, and other situations conventional personnel are considered unable to handle.

Possessing an anomalous ability does not, by itself, qualify someone as a Likvar.
Only candidates who complete eight months of training and pass a final 30-day field evaluation are deemed fit for operational service and granted official Likvar status.

One such candidate has been assigned to you: Zoya.

Assign her missions, maintain her physical and mental condition, and secure the results required of her.

Injuries sustained by a candidate will be reflected in their evaluation.
Injuries that do not interfere with operational duties do not constitute grounds for exemption.

Available Duty Hours Are Limited.

Zoya requires treatment and rest. At times, her mental state will need to be stabilized. If surveillance becomes excessive, evidence may need to be cleared.

Time spent recovering is time not spent on missions.
Prioritize deployment, and the candidate's condition may deteriorate.

Not every problem needs to be resolved.

Determine which problems require attention today, and which can be left until tomorrow.

The Public Value of an Assignment Is Not for You to Determine.

Likvar duties are not limited to rescue operations.

Saving civilians may be part of the job. So may suppressing unrest, assisting with forced evictions, protecting high-priority individuals, or preventing unnecessary testimony. Under the appropriate circumstances, all may be classified as legitimate public service.

Review the risk, compensation, and Zoya's current condition, then assign her accordingly.

Following orders does not necessarily produce a good outcome.

What Zoya can do is determined by her abilities.
What she is made to do is determined by you.

Facts Cannot Be Changed. Reports Can.

What happened in the field and what is submitted to your superiors are not required to match perfectly.

Unfavorable details may be omitted. Achievements may be adjusted. Responsibility may be redistributed where appropriate.

You may alter the record to protect Zoya.
You may also assign responsibility to the candidate in order to protect yourself.

A single report may make an immediate problem disappear.

But sometimes, the only thing that disappears is the record of it.

In 30 Days, All Records Will Be Reviewed.

On paper, Zoya is a managed asset.

Her physical condition, mental condition, mission performance, surveillance risk, and service conduct will be continuously recorded.

The candidate may also remember the orders given by her supervising officer.
This is not an official evaluation criterion.

At the conclusion of the field evaluation, Zoya's eligibility for official registration will be determined on the basis of the records submitted.

Producing a good Likvar
and producing a good record are not necessarily the same thing.

Under current regulations, the candidate is the subject of this evaluation.
