Faraway Galaxy is a tactical card-based roguelite set in a bizarre galaxy, framed as a tabletop board game run by a charismatic narrator. Short, intense puzzle-like battles, powerful artifacts, and meaningful decision-making in random encounters await you. A battle-hardened space wolf on retirement will step in as your Dungeon Master: he’ll move the tokens, roll the dice, voice the alien pirates, and comment on your every move with a touch of dark humor.

Key Features:

• The Force is everything. Forget the classic split between health and mana. Your key resource acts simultaneously as your life bar and the energy required to play cards. Playing powerful moves literally leaves you more vulnerable, and crushing an enemy is your only shot at instantly restoring your strength to the maximum.

• Symmetrical deck progression. No tedious card management here. Deckbuilding happens right in the heat of your adventure. After each victory, you choose a powerful new card for your hand, but you are also forced to choose an upgrade card for your enemies. Your opponents evolve and adapt alongside you!

• Bite-sized tactical encounters. Every battle is a concentrated puzzle. You always fight solo against highly synergistic enemy squads. Calculate your status-effect chains, use zero-cost booster cards that don't drain your Force, and test your luck on dice rolls.

• Five unique factions and professions. Clash with the collective hive mind of the Amicronians, furious Blobs, cunning Reptilians, ruthless Droids, and Humans. Each race combines with a distinct profession (Pirates, Rangers, Devourers, Mercenaries), creating completely unpredictable combat situations.

• Forgiving roguelite experience. Death is not the end of your run; it is merely a tactical complication. Sacrifice a card from your deck, pass a death-defying saving throw, and jump straight back into the action for an instant rematch!

• Collectible meta-progression. Defeat unique bosses, seize their rare artifacts, and unlock secret characters complete with their own starting decks and dialogue perks. Build up your permanent collection of relics between runs.
