Why Early Access?

“HOSTILE is still currently in early development, and only the first area is in a fully playable state. More work is needed to complete the game, such as working on the other areas planned for release as well as additional work to polish up the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The current plan is to have HOSTILE ready for release in late 2026, though this is subject to change depending on how development progresses.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to have at least 4 additional areas to explore within the finished release on top of the 1 area already available to play for a total of 5 zones. I plan on adding up to 9 more powerups added within these areas. along with new enemies and bosses to encounter. Additional story details are also planned for the finished product as well.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of HOSTILE includes a vertical slice of gameplay from the first zone of the game, including tutorials, early enemies and bosses, and powerups obtained early in the game. On average, the game can currently be completed between 25-60 minutes depending on how through you are on exploration.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current plan is to keep HOSTILE free to play for as long as it is in Early Access. However, I do plan to price the game differently only once all planned features are fully implemented upon full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am planning on releasing multiple builds during Early Access as development of the game progresses and more features are added. I hope to receive feedback from the community with these builds in order to better develop the game and create a better final product.”
