About This Demo

We apologize that English is not currently available in the game. Because of our limited production capacity, we plan to add English localization gradually through future updates. Thank you for your patience and support.

What Kind of Game Is OmniRing?

OmniRing is a content-rich tactical RPG that combines CRPG-style story exploration. Its central theme is the “infinite-world” genre—in simple terms, it is a multiverse adventure spanning multiple settings and worlds.

Because of this, the store description is fairly detailed. If you do not plan to read the whole thing, here is a brief overview of the main features currently available in the DEMO:

  • The game includes two different settings—Western fantasy and Republican-era Chinese martial arts—as well as three power systems based on them: magic, martial arts, and steampunk technology.

  • There are 124 classes, 73 bloodlines, and more than 1,000 non-reskinned skills and talents. Every skill has its own role and design purpose.

  • You can fully customize your protagonist’s abilities and appearance, and recruit up to three party members from a pool of 126 potential companions.

  • Combat uses a tactical-grid system, but we have streamlined some of the repetitive operations found in traditional tactical games to speed up battles. An auto-battle mode is also available.

  • The game draws on the story-exploration experience of CRPGs. Party members’ abilities and your decisions can affect the outcome of exploration, ultimately influencing the ending.

  • The game features multiple playthroughs and extensive meta-progression. At a certain cost, you can preserve some of your equipment and companions for the next run.

  • The DEMO will remain available until the full release; it is not a time-limited trial. A complete playthrough is expected to take more than seven hours, while experiencing all of the DEMO’s content will usually require more than 30 hours.

The Infinite-World Setting

The current DEMO includes two worlds: Daedalus and HiddenDragon.

Daedalus is a Western fantasy world inspired by D&D-style settings. HiddenDragon is an alternate-history Eastern world set in the early Republican era, combining martial arts, spirit invocation, and steampunk technology.

Other worlds currently in development—but not yet complete—include Akron, a modern world inspired by biopunk and biological horror; Ashihara, a Japanese-style world of superpowered magical girls; Tianji, a cultivation world; and Galaxy, a science-fiction world inspired by Alien. These worlds will meet you in the full release.

Character Customization

Based on this setting, the game offers hundreds of classes and bloodlines across different power systems. In the current DEMO alone, we have completed 124 obtainable classes and 73 bloodlines. Each class and bloodline includes five active or passive skills, as well as one unique class trait.

All obtainable classes, bloodlines, skills, talents, and equipment can be freely combined. You could create a martial-arts hero wielding a flaming blade, possessing a demonic bloodline, and supported by a technological drone. Or you could have a mage summon an Eastern deity to possess them, transforming them into a powerful frontline fighter.

Due to the current limits of our art production capacity, the visual customization system is still incomplete. At present, only female character portraits are available, but we will eventually add male characters and face-customization assets for more races. In addition, only a small number of characters currently have finished illustrated portraits; most others use simple black-and-white sketches for now.

Fast-Paced Tactical Combat

Combat takes place in small-party tactical battles. We have streamlined some repetitive operations from traditional tactical games—for example, basic attacks do not require a separate target-selection step, allowing each turn to progress more quickly. An auto-battle mode is also available when the situation is not particularly demanding.

However, veteran tactical-game players may find some aspects of the controls unconventional. We will continue experimenting and improving the experience during development.

What You See Is What You Get: Combat Loot

Before each battle begins, you can inspect all of an enemy’s equipment, skills, talents, and other abilities, allowing you to prepare your tactics accordingly.

After the battle, every piece of equipment, skill, and talent the enemies possessed is added to the loot list. You can then spend Loot Points to select the rewards you want.

CRPG-Style Story Exploration

During story events, you can make use of the different strengths of your party members to solve problems and unlock different branches of the story.

Some companions’ past experiences and specialized attributes may also trigger additional hidden events. Through telepathic communication with you, the party leader, you can decide how these hidden events unfold.

High Replayability

The game features multiple playthroughs and extensive meta-progression. We offer numerous legacy unlocks, as well as powerful artifact rings that can greatly enhance the protagonist’s builds.

The growth of your party during a run is not completely lost when that run ends. At the graveyard, you can preserve companions you have fully developed and revive them in a later run by paying a certain cost. You can also store selected equipment in the Reincarnation Chest and retrieve it during your next playthrough.

A Free DEMO Available for the Long Term

The public DEMO will remain available until the full release. During this period, we will continue collecting player feedback and releasing updates from time to time to improve the game.

Finally, our development team is very receptive to feedback. We will not accept every suggestion wholesale, but we take most valuable ideas seriously—especially those whose implementation costs remain manageable—and intend to introduce them at some point in the future.

So please feel free to leave your criticisms and suggestions in the game’s review section!
