“Players can collect three starter Xenopals and watch them transform, using a Task Tracker/To-Do List every day. Your alien friend will walk along the bottom of your screen and cheer you on for every task completed.”

“The price will stay the same after 1.0 release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Right now, the game is tuned to our small team's needs and daily struggles. Things like ADHD can differ so much person to person, so the more feedback we get from our players, the better we can serve different needs! We will check on the Steam forums, and foster a close-knit group of neurodivergent gremlins on our Discord server.”

About This Game

Take the journey of Self-Actualization. Be MORE YOU than you've ever been before. Because "who you are" was always awesome, you just kept putting it off. Get help from your new alien friends who unobtrusively hang out on the bottom of your desktop, co-working with you while you do the things that actually matter to you.

~IT HELPS TO HAVE A FRIEND~

Meet adorable and amazing alien creatures called Xenopals who need your help to set a good example. If you take good care of yourself in real life, they learn to take care of themselves in turn!
It's kind of like getting out of bed to take care of your cat even though you're not feeling it, but the cat is an alien robot and it just wants you to put time into that hobby you miss.

~BUILDING HABITS~

Each day, your Xenopals encourage you to stay well rounded, taking on different kinds of tasks like self-care, so you don't burn out and you're not just a productivity machine. Stay motivated and work toward your long term goals by taking small steps toward them right now in the present.

~SELF-ACTUALIZE~

Motivation Monsters is a chill companion, aimed to encourage you without punishing you. Go at your own pace and never lose your streak or be penalized for having a bad day. Real growth is a marathon, not a sprint! With time, your Xenopals will manifest personal growth through physical transformations, known as Self-Actualization. Eventually, you might even self-actualize.
