About This Game

Six ways to play

Pro League Golf Sim has six modes. Three live inside one golf universe. Three are self-contained careers. In every one of them you can play the round in 3D or let the sim resolve it.

Sandbox

You watch a golf world run. Careers start, peak, and end across more than 15 professional and amateur tours. Q-School, promotions, relegations, free agency, and retirements all happen without you holding the pencil. The news, the records, and the Hall of Fame come from those results.

Tour Drive

You create a 16-year-old, choose a country, and set the ratings. Use a template, or set them yourself inside caps for current skill and potential. Where that player competes, and whether the PLT ever opens, comes from how the rounds go.

Fantasy

You draft a team from golfers across that same universe. Their finishes are your scoreline. Sim the week, or watch your players hit the shots in 3D. Each year brings a new draft and roster movement. The aim is championships, and the best team over a set span or a points total.

Stroke Play

An individual career. You follow one player through a two-tour ladder, the PLT and the MLT, with Q-School, a free-agent pool, a record book, and a Hall of Fame. Event fields, cuts, and a season-long race sit on top of a full statistical career.

Team Play

A league of 24 teams in two conferences and four divisions. Each club carries six players and a home course. You play a season of head-to-head matches, then a playoff, then an off-season with a draft and retirements. Team records and a captain's history stay with the franchise.

Combo

Twenty-four teams, and a season that counts two ways. Players earn individual stroke-play results, and those same weeks feed the team through singles, alternate shot, best ball, and stroke play. You crown a player and a team.

Play it in 3D, or sim it

The 3D course is there for a casual round and for any week inside a universe or a career. The sim engine is there when you want the season in text, with the tables, the news, and the career arc. The deep stats are written either way. A 3D round does not throw away the scorebook, and a simmed week does not lock you out of the course next time.

For a one-off round, tee it up against 13 AI archetypes: Ripper, Marksman, Striker, Scrambler, Artisan, Closer, Maestro, Machine, Mentalist, Specimen, Clutch, Consistent, and Resilient. Each has its own power, accuracy, short game, and nerve. Or build a custom opponent and set the bag yourself.  The AI opponents promise to be the most intelligent rounds of golf ever played in a 3D golf game.

Course designer

Build the course you want to play. Start from a blank piece of ground, or import a LiDAR scan and shape a real piece of land into a routing. Fairways, greens, bunkers, and the hole itself are yours to place. Courses you build are available when you play in 3D.

Build the world around the holes

Three workshops feed the designer.

Asset Forge builds the structures: houses, barns, tents, clubhouses, and the other models that sit around a course.

Nature Forge builds the living parts: trees, grass cards, reeds, and the rest of the vegetation.

Texture Forge builds the surfaces: ground, rough, and the other maps the course is painted with.

What you make in those tools can be used in the designer, so the environment is yours from the dirt up.

Golfer Factory

Dress the golfer and the equipment. Apparel covers the hat, shirt, collar, pants, shoes, and the face. Clubs can be painted in sections, including grip and shaft. The ball can be swapped and textured. The golfer you build is the one who stands on the tee in 3D.
