BUILD BY DAY: RACE AGAINST TIME

By day, sunlight is your most precious resource—but time is running out. Every second of your limited daylight must count:

• Send your workers to forests, quarries, and construction sites.

• Raise walls, position defensive towers, and establish your production chain.

• Construction locks when the sun sets. Unfinished walls are the first to fall in the darkness.

MANAGE THE LIGHT: BALANCE GROWTH AND DANGER

Light is your living space, but it draws the darkness’s attention:

• Build lanterns to push back the darkness and open up fertile new resource areas for your settlement.

• The farther your light shines, the more attention—and hunger—it attracts at night.

• Siege monsters target your lantern network. If a link breaks, outlying districts plunge into darkness and production grinds to a halt.

DEFEND BY NIGHT: PROTECT THE HEART OF YOUR CITY

At dusk, the rules change. Terrifying hordes rise from pitch-black darkness to test your borders:

• Create deadly chokepoints with archer towers, fire-spewing defenses, and traps.

• Face specialized enemies: gate-pounding Destroyers, worker-hunting Raiders, and shadow creatures that target lanterns.

• Issue emergency defense orders to reinforce collapsing gates with barricades or rally guards to critical fronts.

Every run brings a new fate and a different strategy:

• At dawn after each night you survive, unleash the power of ancient runes and shape your strategy.
