What is Star Catcher?

We are The Fallow. A herbivorous and peaceful people. We have a duty: to be stewards of this sea and to free the souls lost within it. They are the scattered star-lights in the sea and the sky. We free the souls by guiding them and offering passage to the Beyond at the centre of our world.

A full single-player journey you can enjoy peacefully alone, or share with up to four friends in the same world. Unwind together, fish in the same space, and celebrate with text/voice chat and emotes!

Restore the World

Release the souls you catch to the Beyond in order to receive pearls and restore beauty to this ancient world. As you release more souls, you'll gain access to new islands, areas, NPCs and souls.

Customise Your Fishing with Artefacts

Equip different artefacts to customise your fishing experience! The balance between Challenge, Risk, and Reward is entirely up to you.

Earn, Progress and Grow

Increase your reputation among other Fallow by gifting them the pearls you receive from fishing. As you grow closer, other Fallow will offer you new artefacts, customisation options, soul locations, and lore.

Express yourself by customising your Fallow! Equip different skin or clothing options; or express yourself with a variety of emotes to show off to your friends!
