LUCIFERIANISM is an indie roguelike soulslike. Set in a labyrinthine maze of 290 levels, it is an open world game, an rpg that will take you to a multitude of different locations, from Ancient Chinese and Japanese inspired levels, to modern day Urban Environments, and Cyberpunk Dystopia's. Made by one man in Unreal Engine 5, I have attempted to create a serious religious story with this work, which I somewhat succeeded at. It is an allegory, a religious parable, and a philosophical commentary on Nietzsche's Death of God.

The player can also press a button to start reading out philosophy, literature, and religious writings, from a variety of sources, including Plato, Nietzsche, Bram Stoker, Don Quixote, The Tao Te Ching, Freud, Shakespeare, Homer, Journey to the West, and various other works from literary history. Plus a shutup button.

Anyway, the game's not really about making money, I made it free so the maximum number of people would get a chance to play it. The maker of this game has schizophrenia, so I am very proud to have gotten this far.

The game occasionally takes place in red light districts, and slums where you will encounter prostitutes, consuming narcotics (weed vape), as NPC's you can talk to. In one area of the game the player can purchase the use of a sex worker who unlocks a save game. This edgy content is not found everywhere. There is blood and gore from the combat, and you fight with guns, swords, bows and arrows, and other things. The violence while bloody and gorey, is not intense disturbing violence like some other games. There is swearing and vulgarity in the game, and it even has a button you can press to swear, which also stops the philosophy speeches. Violent and aggressive characters are everywhere throughout the game. The main menu mocks the player, negotiating away the player's soul, then when you press the button to quit, it says "Yes I already took your soul, why not just end it?" Certain maps have comically absurd expletive filled names, for instance, in the tropical region you'll find a map called "BITCH EAT IT IT'S CAKE!!"
