“Roguie is launching in Early Access because while the core gameplay loop is complete, there’s a lot more content and features I want to add. The game is already fully playable in both single-player and multiplayer, but I see Early Access as the best way to grow Roguie with community feedback and expand its replayability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently expect Roguie to remain in Early Access for roughly a year, or until the planned features and content have been added. My goal is to keep supporting the game after release with further updates and improvements based on community feedback to keep the experience fresh.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Planned Full Version Features:
-Additional levels and bosses
-More characters with unique abilities and playstyles
-An expanded arsenal of weapons and items
-Extra features such as challenge levels and new gameplay modes
-Balancing and polish based on community feedback”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes:
-4 playable characters
-4 randomized worlds (Space, Dungeon, Tombs, Feudal Japan)
-Single-player and multiplayer
-A variety of weapons, items, and upgrades to discover”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“My intention is to raise the price slightly at full launch to reflect the additional content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I’m developing Roguie on my own, so community feedback is extremely important to me. I’ll be listening closely to players on Steam discussions and Discord, and I plan to use that feedback to help guide development—whether that’s balancing weapons, adding new items, or deciding which features and levels to prioritize next. Every bit of input will go a long way in shaping the final game.”
