Inspired by the classics of the genre, the project blends the visual aesthetics of the golden age of pre-rendered graphics and a richly developed cosmology with modern game design and advanced AI. The game will immerse you in a world of battles, where you'll face devious enemy factions, act tactically, and think strategically. Now we invite you to join the journey of Oswald, Emperor of the Source, who follows the Will of the Goddess!

THE STORY

Oswald, the mighty Emperor of the Source and commander of Zenon's strongest army, was sent forth by the Will of the wicked Goddess to fulfill a sacred mission. Yet the emergence of powerful ancient creatures – the Archaei – shattered the Goddess's plans, and the Emperor lost his loyal swords and shields, barely escaping death himself. Now, the avatar of an ancient supreme being, he must walk the path alone and fulfill the Will of the Goddess.

WORLD EXPLORATION

The game invites players to explore a layered world filled with lore and mythic stories, built from handcrafted locations. Along the way, players will face unique and challenging battles against coordinated enemy groups that act together under advanced AI control.

STORY AND ABILITIES

The game features a branching narrative filled with vivid dialogue and impactful decisions – both for individual characters and the world itself. Every major choice unlocks a new ability that stays with the character permanently. These abilities are always available, and the further you progress, the more tools you'll have to deal with enemies and experiment with the world around you.

TACTICS AND AI

Though the game may look like a fast-paced action title, it rewards a thoughtful, tactical approach to combat. You'll need to carefully plan your moves and strategies to avoid being overwhelmed. The main character has a wide range of tools to fight against smart, well-prepared enemies. Enemy units use their abilities, surround and flank the player, retreat when needed, protect wounded allies, flee, chase weakened opponents, regroup after losses, and help each other when necessary. Our AI doesn't rely on simple scripted behavior – it uses advanced GOAP-like technique that allows units to follow shared tactics and group strategies. We've developed our own custom AI systems and decision-making logic, without using third-party models. The result is a challenging but fair gameplay experience that demands planning – otherwise, battles can quickly turn into ruins.

CHARACTER PROGRESSION

The game features a unique upgrade system where five core stats are balanced against one another. As you progress, you unlock special perks along the way. With the help of the crafting system, you can fine-tune your character's progression, choosing the combinations of positive and negative perks that suit your personal playstyle.

CRAFTING AND EQUIPMENT

Throughout the game, you'll be able to enhance your gear using hidden knowledge, and create powerful artifacts and spells that can completely change your character's growth. This lets you shape your journey to match the style that feels most natural to you.

Enchanting items is not just a way to improve their quality, but also a process of fine-tuning the balance of the Emperor’s five energies. Choose the harmony of energies that will help you overcome obstacles more effectively.
