This expansion brings the long-awaited Type IX U-boat to the game, opening up new strategic possibilities and historical theaters of war.

DLC Content Includes:

Three Playable Type IX Variants

• Type IXA: The earliest vessel of this class, deployable as early as 1939. It features three periscopes and enhanced capacity for long-range operations.

• Type IXC: A significantly improved version with expanded fuel capacity for extended patrols in distant waters and a capability of supporting three conning tower configurations.

• Type IXC/40: The pinnacle of the IX series. Capable of the longest operational range, this variant in UBOAT comes standard with a quick diving forecastle and an armored conning tower for increased survivability.

New Historical Campaigns & Missions

Take part in historical operations and lead your boat through new campaigns and missions in distant operational areas.

• The Monsoon Group: Join the "Monsun Gruppe" and operate from the distant port of Penang, Malaysia, based within Japanese-controlled territory.

• South Atlantic Operations: Conduct distant patrols inspired by historical Wolfpacks - Cape Town, Eisbär, and Seehund.

• Operation Kiebitz: Undertake a daring rescue mission off the coast of North America to recover Kriegsmarine officers from a POW camp.

Witness History Unfold

Participate in authentic historical events including:

• Rescuing survivors following the sinking of the Laconia.

• Encountering the auxiliary cruiser Atlantis.

• Transporting Japanese officials through hostile waters to the Indian Ocean.

Additional Emblems

Decorate your conning tower with three additional emblems:

• A victory clover, as on U-68.

• A crocodile, inspired by a historical emblem of U-504.

• A tiger eating ship, as on U-518.
