Meet the Elderclaw, a breathtaking new kindred spirit that is less like an animal and more like the living soul of the wild. Draped in blossoms and adorned with protective vines, this mystical guardian blends the strength of an apex predator with the serenity of nature itself.

Though it is not prone to anger, crossing the Elderclaw’s path with ill intent can awaken its wrath, and the forest answers its call. Rumours speak of twisting roots, embracing vines, and strange totems which turn the tide of battle, sapping the will of enemies while bolstering allies.

Although Elderclaw rarely attacks unprovoked, it will not shy away from a fight. It instinctively controls nearby vegetation to wrap itself in a thick tangle of protective vines, while sending out roots to entangle any aggressor, assuming it does not simply knock them into a stupor with its massive paws.

When nettled, Elderclaw will conjure a Spirit Echo to ward off threats. This ethereal talisman radiates vibrations that weaken enemies while invigorating allies under its protection. As nearby conflict grows, the Spirit Echo channels that fury into its master, granting a surge of strength and explosive growth.

Though usually immaterial, Spirit Echoes can manifest long enough to burst in a cloud of charged spores, scorching aggressors while mending the wounds of allies.
